Carol Channing is 88 years young. Her comedic timing is pitch perfect, as was her delivery of "Hello Bravehearts" at our Braveheart's Rise award ceremony. She is dedicated to bringing the arts back into the education system and says that creativity training grows the brain. Bravo!
After receiving a B.A. in Fine Arts from Wheaton College, Marilyn was employed as an illustrator of children’s books and periodicals.
In 1980, she became one of the first computer artists, pioneering the animation department at Atari games; creating and art directing titles for many well known clients, including Walt Disney, CTW Muppets, DC Comics, and Steven Spielberg.
Later, she specialized in children’s educational software, creating titles in partnership with Fisher-Price Toys, McGraw-Hill, The Learning Company and others.
These days, Marilyn lives with her husband, Keith Schuler, in northern California, and spends most of her time dreaming up stories with happy endings for her Mystic Heroine Adventures book series.
